Our Services - Retail Design and documentation

We were approached to come up with a design for an existing group of retail health stores that had no existing concept or brand identity. Our brief was to incorporate green, health and timber into a professional looking brand identity for our provider of health supplements and related products. Our concept mood boards consisted of bamboo, subtle tones of the sky, and germinating plants and leaf growth. During consultation with the client, it was jointly decided to take a bold green approach to colour and to highlight the concept of the growth of timber, maintaining a more classical edge to the design. The extensive use of moulded timber emulates the vertical growth and strength in nature, and automatically provided a natural backdrop for our choice of colours and materials.

The Perth DFO tenancy provided a completed shopfront, full-height glazed, polished concrete floor finish, no ceiling and full height plasterboard walls as our starting elements. Additional visual structure and organisation was introduced in the suspended ceiling structure, to ensure the design was contained within the volume of the DFO. All cabinetry and POS counters were purposefully designed to suit storage requirements and future changes to layout can easily be accommodated.
