Client - Mirvac

Allendale Square is centrally located in Perth's CBD, on the corner of Hay Street and Sherwood Court. The development links a number of circulatory paths through the city and is a popular pedestrian path onto Queen Elizabeth Quay. Originally opened in 1976, Allendale Square was due for an upgrade, so we assisted Mirvac and the development team, in transforming the square, and its approx. 20 retailers into an underground urban hub of restaurants and service providers to inner city customers and visitors alike.

Mirvac approached dsld to provide the Retail Design Management services of the tenancies, many of which were in-situ, and many new Retailers too. Re-inventing new energy into an existing design and Retailers is as much of a challenge as a new development. Allendale Square presents as a place away from the hustle and bustle of the city above, but retains it’s urban and commercial atmosphere.
